The Second Vice-Presidency of Economy, Employment and Industry of the Government of Aragon together with the City Council of Zaragoza and the prestigious Club of Rome organizes the Day of Circular Economy in Aragon: “Towards a common strategy”, to be held on Friday April 26th from 9 am, ending at 14 pm. The day will be held at CaixaForum in Zaragoza.

09:30 – 09:45 hours. Opening by Mar Vaquero – 2nd Vice President of the Government of Aragon.
09:45 – 10:00 hours. “The future needs the Circular Economy”, Antonio Valero – Club of Rome, Spanish Chapter G. Aragonés.
10:00 – 10:15 hours. RESOURCE European Project Presentation, Jesús López – CEEI Project Manager.
10:15 – 10:30 hours. SME success story, FELTWOOD.
10:30 – 10:45 hours. Presentation of the European REDOL Project, Eduardo Cembrano – Director of the Industry and Energy Area of the F. CIRCE, and Alicia Valero – Head of the Industrial Ecology Group of the IUMI Energaia of the University of Zaragoza.
10:45 – 11:00 am. Successful case of a large company: CEMEX.
11:00 – 11:15 hours. Circular Economy Strategy of the Government of Aragon, Ana Sanz – General Director of SMEs and Autonomous of the Government of Aragon.
11:15 – 11:30 am. Implementation of organic collection, its transformation into energy and compost in CTRUZ. Francisco Bergua – Head of Urban Ecology and Circular Economy Department.
11:30 – 13:30 hours. Work Cafés: Enhancing the circular economy in Aragon (Parallel participatory sessions, limited capacity, prior registration is required in only one of them) :
Workshop 1: Building the foundations to strengthen the Circular Economy in our territory (REDOL).
Workshop 2: Business opportunities for innovative projects in circular economy (RESOURCE).
13:30 – 13:40 hours. Conclusions Workshops.
