Next April 26th, Wednesday, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am we will carry out a new CEEI Digital Breakfast entitled “Blockchain technology as a tool for the protection of intangible assets: software, apps, platforms, etc.”.
Traditionally, the way a company protects its material innovations is through figures such as patents, utility models, trade secrets, among others. The protection of intangible assets -software, apps, platforms, etc.- also has its different forms of protection.
But we can go further by using the most cutting-edge technologies. Is it possible to use Blockchain technology as a knowledge protection tool? How can we protect our brands in virtual environments such as the metaverse? What we generate through Artificial Intelligence, can we protect it?
To discuss these issues we had the intervention of José M.ª del Valle, lawyer, industrial property agent and director of the Catalonia/Aragon Area at ClarkeModet, an international consulting firm specialized in industrial and intellectual protection, and in protection and exploitation of R&D&I results.
On the other hand, Gemma Ticó, creator of the Oinkers Agency and company attached to the CRECE services of CEEIARAGON tells the experience of her company that was created to bring more value to the pig sector thanks to its specialized communication services.
