QUALITY CERTIFIED BY THE EUROPEAN BUSINESS NETWORK (EBN)
One of the hallmarks of CEEIARAGON is the EU|BIC mark, awarded by the European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN), which certifies that BICs comply with certain quality standards in the services they offer and in their own operating and management model. This mark represents the only officially recognised international standard model of innovation based on incubation and acceleration. The award of the mark is associated with the achievement of optimal results in relation to the promotion of private sector R&D&I, innovative entrepreneurship and the competitive improvement of SMEs in the respective fields of action.
The EU|BIC mark indicates that the certified BIC is seriously committed by making its resources available and providing services to innovative entrepreneurs and/or established SMEs with needs to incorporate innovation in their processes and/or products. The European Court of Auditors also endorses the important role of BICs in its special report on the contribution of ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) funds to the development of incubators in 2014 by qualifying BICs as "incubators of reference".

The National Association of Innovative Centres and Companies (ANCES) and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) have signed a four-year collaboration agreement whose objective is to facilitate, promote and stimulate the knowledge and use of Industrial Property (hereinafter IP) rights among the members of the association, in addition to strengthening the two-way institutional communication channel between the two entities. The agreement has been published in the BOE (Official State Gazette) No. 188 of 9 July 2020 and provides for the implementation of joint activities related to IP.
Thus, the companies installed in CEEIARAGON, partner of ANCES, have a 30% discount on the price of Patent Technology Reports and Technology Surveillance Reports. These reports are retrospective searches carried out in the state of the art, in patent databases and non-patent literature, which are of added value for companies when it comes to knowing what their competitors are doing, what is being generated in their technological environment and whether a technological solution developed by a company may have the patentability requirements for its protection. Likewise, the OEPM, among other actions, undertakes to help train ANCES members in this area, holding seminars that will enable them to learn about the different IP modalities, the OEPM's Technological Information services and the best mechanisms for protecting the R&D results of their research. The OEPM and ANCES have already been collaborating on other national and international projects, including the European Commission's VIP4SMES project, within the framework of the H2020 research and innovation programme, aimed at raising awareness among European Union companies of the value of the intellectual capital they generate and the means of protection available to them.
ADVANTAGES OF THE ANCES-UNIVERSITY ISABEL I PARTNER NETWORK TO PROMOTE DIGITALISATION
ANCES and Isabel I University collaborate to promote the digitalisation of companies through a line of aid to companies and workers in their sphere of influence. Aware of the profound transformations brought about by globalisation and digitalisation, both parties consider the official training of professionals in digital skills to be key for the future of companies. For this reason, and with the aim of promoting business digitalisation and strengthening the ties between the business world and the university, the University Isabel I offers ANCES its digital scholarships, with which the worker can benefit from an exclusive €1,000 scholarship to continue with their training.
CEEIARAGON offers employees of companies that are part of CEEIARAGON, which is integrated in ANCES, the possibility of accessing seven official online masters, which will allow them to expand their training while they combine their studies with family and professional life. Within the framework of the aid programme for business digitalisation, the University Isabel I will grant companies that are part of CEEIARAGON and their employees exclusive aid of €1,000 to extend their training by taking an official online master's degree linked to new technologies and with which they will acquire digital skills for the company. These grants, which can be extended to first-degree relatives of employees, will be awarded for the Master's Degree in Project Management, the Master's Degree in Big Data, the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, the Master's Degree in Mobile Technologies, the Master's Degree in Digital Marketing, the Master's Degree in Legal Consultancy and the Master's Degree in Human Resources Management. With these grants, the University Isabel I provides access to an educational offer of seven official master's degrees, which are officially valid throughout the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), and represent some of the most in-demand qualifications, from a technological point of view, in the current market.
ADVANTAGES OF PARTNER ANCES AND BANCO SANTANDER
The National Association of Innovative Centers and Companies (ANCES) and Banco Santander have signed a collaboration agreement whose objective is to promote the development of Spanish Startups and SMEs; jointly disseminate the value proposition of Startups and facilitate access to information on the various aid programs that may exist at any given time, granted by various public agencies, and especially those that are part of the "Next Generation Funds".
Among the collaboration actions we highlight the following activities:
Startups. Jointly developing projects and initiatives that contribute to boosting the Startup ecosystem in Spain. ANCES will collaborate by identifying potential entrepreneurs while ANCES associates identified as Startups will have access to a financial and non-financial offer for the group.
WorkCafés. Banco Santander makes available to all members and associates the WorkCafé offices as an ideation and innovation center in the different Spanish provinces. The WorkCafé offices have coworking spaces, meeting rooms with a 2-hour reservation per week, space with video wall, wifi, cafeteria...
Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. ANCES and Banco Santander will jointly develop actions that are necessary and that are understood by both parties to be the most appropriate at all times to disseminate among SMEs.
