CEEIARAGON is currently working on the LIAISE project, implemented by EBN and funded by the EU Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI), and aims to equip Business Support Organizations (BSOs) to better serve social entrepreneurs in Europe.
The goal of LIAISE (Linking Incubation Actors for Inclusive and Social Entrepreneurship) is to bring about a paradigm shift in the European incubation ecosystem towards a more inclusive and impact-driven approach to innovative entrepreneurship. The ultimate goal is to drive an ecosystemic shift aimed at providing social entrepreneurs with dedicated business support services, incubation programs and networks that enable them to develop viable and sustainable businesses.
CEEIARAGON, participates in one of the 5 European Communities of Practice (CoP), created in this program, specifically in the Senior one. These 5 CoPs, throughout the project, will investigate best practices and jointly design new approaches in the field of social and inclusive entrepreneurship. To this end, they will seek to collect the most relevant past experiences - learnings, failures, good practices and achievements - in the field of inclusive entrepreneurship. In addition, the CoPs will monitor any active inclusive entrepreneurship programs during the implementation of the project (2021-2022), and these will serve as a pilot and test experience to validate the learning inputs coming from the CoP itself.
Finally, the LIAISE Project will explore policy dimensions and capitalize on the participatory process developed by the CoPs.

The European Business and Innovation Centre of Aragon (CEEIARAGON) has joined the European project "Better Incubation - LIAISE: Linking Incubation Actors for Inclusive and Social Entrepreneurship". The aim of this project is to bring about a shift in the European incubation ecosystem towards a more inclusive approach to provide social entrepreneurs with business support services, incubation programmes and networks that enable them to develop viable and sustainable businesses.
In the framework of this project, CEEIARAGON launches a first call of the programme "50+ EMPRENDIENDO. BOOST YOUR PROJECT". Its objective is to select three innovative business projects with at least one senior promoter, to include them in a free business incubation programme according to their initial stage of development.
The aim is to enable the beneficiaries to strengthen and consolidate the development of their business projects.
What is the programme about?
The three-month programme, which is free of charge, includes:

Depending on the degree of development of each selected project, a personalised development programme will be proposed during incubation based on the needs detected.
Who is it for?
Company projects with registered office and tax domicile in Aragon, of an innovative nature with at least one senior promoter (over 49 years old).
The motivation of the promoters, innovation, growth potential, market opportunity and social commitment will be valued.
Deadlines and timetable
a) PHASE 1. Opening of the call for applications and submission of documentation. From 10/09/2021 to 30/09/2021 at 12 noon. FINISHED.
b) PHASE 2. Analysis and evaluation of applications, and selection of applications. From 30/09/2021 to 08/10/2021. FINISHED.
c) PHASE 3. Implementation of the business acceleration programme. From 15/10/2021 to 15/01/2022. FINISHED.
d) PHASE 4. Presentation of results. January 2022. FINISHED.
Assessment criteria
The projects will be selected by a selection committee taking into account the entrepreneurial spirit of the promoters, the innovation of the project, its capacity for growth, market opportunity and social commitment.
